    The Infant and Toddler Program prepares adults to work with children from birth to three years of age. Classes meet for the Summer Academic phase at the Montessori Educational Centers, Inc., with access to its Infant and Toddler environments. This unique feature of the program provides optimum learning experiences for each student. The program has two phases, which include academic preparation and a supervised internship. During the school year, two weekend seminars are offered.

    The Primary Program prepares adults to educate children from 2 ½ through 6 years of age in an environment within the Montessori Philosophy. Students meet for the Summer Academic Phase for six weeks at the Montessori Educational Centers, Inc. During the school year, two weekend seminars are offered. The program has two phases, which include academic preparation and a supervised internship.

    The Elementary I Program prepares adults to work with students from 6-9 years of age. Classes meet for the Academic Phase at the Kopecky Montessori Elementary School and Millard Montclair Public Montessori School. This program consists of an eight week summer academic session on campus, with 18 hours of seminar during the practicum phase. “Elementary students without Montessori Early Childhood 3-6 training from a MACTE approved training center must attend the Introduction to Montessori Overview", now available as an approved online course for 3 hours of graduate credit and may be used towards a Masters Degree from UNK in Curriculum and Instruction. Elementary students also have the option of registering for Geography/History, Biology/Physical Science and Integrative Arts as online courses. The remaining 5 weeks will be required on campus. If a student or faculty do not find the student has successfully demonstrated the required skills of a certified Montessori teacher, the student may attend the on-campus classes again at no additional cost.

    The Elementary II Program prepares adults to work with students from nine years to twelve years of age. Classes meet for the Academic Phase at the Kopecky Montessori Elementary School and Millard Montclair Elementary School. This program consists of a six week summer academic session . Elementary II (9-12) students would have completed the Elementary I (6-9) training.
